Can you use the hot water bath method to can carrots with potatoes?
I am totally new to this canning stuff.

Hi and welcome to the forum sueabba!. No, you cannot safely can carrots or potatoes in a hot water bath. You can't can potatoes in a water bath at all, carrots only if they are pickled. Vegetables, meats, other low acid foods must be canned in a pressure canner.
