OfflineHas anyone dehydrated green tomatoes? I want to preserve some for winter frying, but my attempts at freezing and canning have left lots to be desired. I picked some this morning and they are going on the Excalibur as soon as I finish this post.
I'd love to hear about your experiences!

OfflineNot good. The tomatoes didn't rehydrate well at all, despite soaking in water for a couple of hours. We fried them up anyway, but it was like chewing on shoe leather. Disappointing, but there was only one way to find out if it would work.
