Geez I kept wondering why it took longer and longer for the dehydrator to dehydrate the fruits and herb this last week or so. Finally the bulb lit! The heater is no longer working…only the fan. What would you do in this situation? Unit is less than 2 years old. I'd say moderate use. (Sending unit back to Excal is probably more than I can manage physically.) Thanks goodness I had completed most of my holiday dehydrating.

Call them, from all reports they can send you the parts and the replacement of most things is very easy. In any case, a phone call should get to the bottom of things.

We thought it was our thermostat. turns out it was the fuse! So now I have an extra thermostat. Parts are pricey, but not as pricey as a new dehydrator!
