OfflineWant to get a food saver – mainly for sealing canning jars for dry storage. I will, however, use some of it's other features.
But YIKES! Took a quick look at the Food Saver web site and there are a zillion models
….well, almost a zillion.
With everything else I'm doing, it was just overwhelming to me to sit there and try to compare and figure out which model to get so…I'm asking YOU!
Please tell me which model you have, what you like about it, and what you don't like about it. And…if you could do it all over again, would you have chosen a different model? And why?
Hopefully that will help me decide!

OfflineI have the Food Saver V2244 (purchased locally at Target for about $90.) I had had an earlier model and wore it out. I, too, thought long and hard about the choices. I couldn't justify the extra expense for the model that had the wet and dry options when I knew that I could manually operate that feature if necessary. I also looked at other brands. Yes, I would definitely purchase this model again.
