OfflineMiss Judy: I agree, It would seem like something Runningtrails-Sheryl would be interested in/would write about, but I can't figure out how to track that down. My memory tells me she might have written a blog post that mentioned Violet jelly among others . . .
Anyway here's the violet jelly.

I came across a recipe for wild violet jelly. Has anyone made it or tried it? What does it taste like? We have tons of wild violets in the spring and I might be interested in making it.
I made this last spring..It was very good…took to work and they loved it….very pretty color also……it does take alot of violets but well worth it
