I got some of marymoocow's comfrey roots.  I tossed the package into a big canvas bag at work, and somehow the recycling stuff ended up on top of it.  About a week later, I realized what that package was in the bottom, and thought sure I had killed them dead.

Nope–they had little leaves poking out, even though they were in a ziplock!  I put them out in the garden, and they are coming up just fine!!  The chickens are already eyeing them!!
