OfflineHello- is it safe for me to put the waste and straw from my meat birds pen into my garden? I know I will allow it to decompose first but I read somewhere that the waste of the chicks eating chick starter and drinking water with vitamins in it wasn't safe to use in your garden. Did I get it wrong??? Seems wasteful to burn it if I can utilize it the way I use my laying hens old bedding. Thanks!

OfflineIn the winter time, I take the wast from my bunny and chickens and it goes right in the garden, this way when I till it over in the spring it has already cured and its not breaking my back moving it more than once. This time of year I would let it sit for like HG said 60 days or so.
