One time I had an old rocker that I placed over a rose bush, it was so cute, but only lasted a few years.  I do have an old wringer washer in the back planted with flowers and a few weeds.

Don't cry because it's over—smile because it happened!

Guess I qualify as one of those redneck hillbilly sorts!  We have a commode bowl in the garden.  It actually looks very nice, this year filled with red and orange impatience.  It's a dark aqua color, one of those low rise things, and really perks up the dark corner of the garden where it is placed.  Have tried several different plantings in it, but these impatiences are the best so far, and will probably stick with it.

We so like some whimsy in the garden.  I don't have a good place for one, but a friend has a rose "bed" which is literally a bed frame!  It is adorable!  Then, she added a lavatory at the head of it, and it is so cute.  Her garden can accommodate that, and look good.

We have another old commode that I would like to add to the garden, but it has both the bowl and the tank and is white.  So far, I haven't decided that it would look good anywhere.  May just break the two pieces apart and use them separately.  The white one is going to be much trickier to place without it just looking like a commode stuck in the garden!

Husband says not to plant anything in the bowl part. His reasoning is that you may be working really hard outdoors one day and not have time to run inside, and it could come in handy. Guessing you would plant some shrubs around it…thornless preferably.

In years past I wanted one sitting beside the water outlet as a dog watering bowl…

My girlfriend has a dog watering bowl that looks like a toilet and when the dog sticks his nose in it a sensor is triggered and it flushes and fills with fresh water.
