Baking bread and sandwich buns the morning, and making a pasta salad. The weather is going to be not the best today with storms etc. so I want to make supper easy---just in case.

Actually, youngest granddaughter and I have Nutella Puffs in the oven as we speak.  She had a game she was playing the other day that used a puff pastry type dough so we looked up puff pastry etc and found a recipe that used Nutella (a favorite of her sisters) and have made some for her to take home tonight and some for our dessert here.

Actually, should have done it this morning when it was cooler.  It is in the 80's here today with sunshine and light wind.

Hi mamajhk,

happy-flower        I was just introduced to Nutella last week. I have seen it advertised on TV and in magazines but never tasted it.  It was certainly different from anything that I would have thought of having on my morning toast etc. when I was growing, yum! Like opening a tub of cake icing.  Wished they had that 75 some years ago, although I doubt it would have been "Mom approved" but I would have like it--a lot!

It wasn't around when I was growing up either but after seeing it used on cooking shows, etc. I purchased some and it has become a snack favorite with the granddaughters.  I also use it in fudge sometimes.  But as they say "A little dab with do ya"  It can be awfully sweet.  Couple of the granddaughters are content to eat it right out of the jar. We have put it on Ritz crackers and have dipped pretzels in it.

I have to admit, I put some on a Ritz cracker, and crunchy peanut butter on another and them mooched them together--with a glass of cold milk---excellent!
