OfflineOkay, so I had a bunch and I mean 2 boxes full of apples. I made apple butter, applesauce and my husband is making apple wine! I had some left over this weekend and decided to make apple jelly. The recipe called for 3 cups of apple juice, and I had 6 cups. The pectin was one box and 5 cups of sugar. So I doubled the recipe for everything EXCEPT I didn't think to put 2 boxes of pectin in my recipe. Should I have doubled the pectin? I have never used that stuff don't know how to use it I guess. But I did add the second box of pectin and brought it to another boil and put it in my jars and processed them. When I tilt my jars, it looks a little runny, meaning the contents move. Not sure how else to splain that one LOL. Can I take it out and reboil it? Or do I chalk it up to a loss? Thanks!![]()

Use it as a syrup for pancakes or topping for ice-cream! Add stuff to it and make a pie. You get the idea. Don't toss. Use.
