happy-flowerHello everyone,

The other day my neighbor came over and I decided to make a pot of tea, this time I used my thermal pot coffee maker, I put several tea bags into the container and filled the water chamber as usual, at the end of the cycle, we had a perfect pot of hot tea, and since it was a thermal pot, it stayed nice and hot, now I am making my iced tead the same way, just leave the tea steep for a good long while and pour into a container, I usally add more water since the tea is quite strong.

  Thank you.

I don't drink coffee, but I bought a coffee maker just to make iced tea.  I mixed the finished tea about half and half with cold water after it brews.

I just haven't been the same since that house fell on my sister.

I've made hot tea in my "coffee pot"  for at least 15 years.  You can use tea bags or a filter with loose tea.  No one is allowed to use my "coffee pot" for coffee. shame-on-you

Hi SarahGrace, after seeing your post, I remembered I had a pot from an old coffemaker that fits my current coffeemaker, it will be used for tea only, since the tea bags are only in the pot part it will work perfectly. It is a thermal pot so I used stick on letters leftover from a mailbox project so my "new" pot says  TEA
