You need to be signed into Farm Bell in order to leave a request…….

happy-flowerHi Cindy, do you mean signed in as I am now to leave a post on this page? If so, I tried and it kept rejecting my password–the same one I use to sign in to CITR–do I need a separate password to Farm Bell?

You can use the same name and password, but you have to register separately.

JoJo, Yes you can cook and mash sweet potatoes the same as white. Peel them, cut up and cook in water on the stove till they're done.

I put in butter, a little salt/pepper, and mash 'em up with my potato masher. I'll bet a dash of cinnamon or nutmeg would taste good in there too!

And, you have to register separately on FarmBell, as others have said. You can use the same password and name, though, if you want.

Good luck!

But you can still look around without registering, right?  I know if I fail to sign in, I can still look at most things, just not add comments or post questions and such.

Sometimes It will remember you and sometimes it will treat you like  stranger.  But that is just the way of computers.

When I mash sweet potatoes I like to add a little orange zest otherwise known as grated orange rind, a little brown sugar and lots of butter.

I was looking at the recipe for Quick Cheese that CindyP posted and I'm wondering where I would get "sweet cream". Can I buy that at the grocery store?

Sweet cream is regular cream – like whipping cream or heavy cream - as opposed to sour cream.

Thank you!! I'm going to attempt to make cheese. This is my first time. I want to try it and so far no one has taken me up on the offer of letting them buy me cheese-making kits. Go figure. :)

help help help.. :) I have been trying to login for Farm Bell Recipes to post. I registered a while back, states not registered, so when I try to re-register it won't recognize my username or password. I am feeling more and more computer illerate…yikes! I have no trouble with the main CITR site.

Any suggestions to lead me down the right path? thanks! Also, can you explain what the PM is?

A PM is a Private Message, and you'll see a notice about it up at the top of the page, (the little envelope up in the upper right of this page)

I can't help you too much with Farm Bell, but Cindy will be along soon I think!  Sorry you're having trouble there, it can be troublesome at first but once you get it settled it gets much easier. yes

Thanks BuckeyeGirl! Another question then for you, with PM, if I can't get this thing figured out with Farm Bell Recipes, can I PM a recipe to Miki? If so how would I do that? Do I click it on hers? ..just asking for now…  :)

Yep, you click on the Send PM on one of her posts or else click on that little envelope at the top of your page and then type her screen name into the address block, I'll send you a test PM so you can 'get' one, and you can reply just for practice.  smile

Yesterday, I submitted a recipe called Oatmeal Breakfast Bars. It was posted just fine, but my name, squeegee1 is not on it. Is there a glitch? My other submissions were fine. Can you insert it for me, admin? Thanks in advance.
