Thanks for bringing up this topic, Shells………'tis the season! Smile (There's no Christmas smileys)

Make sure to put any recipes over in the Just Recipes section, but we can do all of our discussing here!!

I found a really great, easy fudge recipe last year — right off the powdered sugar bag!  And you can use any chips to make it any different flavor!  I used mint flavoring instead of vanilla for a chocolate mint fudge.

The EASIEST fudge is a bag of whatever chips and a can of sweetened condensed milk. You can add vanilla, nuts, whatever your heart desires. Now, this doesn't have the exact same texture as the cooked stuff, but  Fork

Gonna have to go look for a fudge recipe I had some years ago.  I think I can find it!  Seems like it had peanut butter, marshmallow cream, chocolate chips, maybe one or two other things, cooked in the microwave.  And it was deeeeeelicious!  Well, given that it took absolutely nothing to make, but probably not award winning among the best ever fudge recipes.

Wait a minute!  How'd we get from cookies to fudge??   Wink  Just 'cause they are both good and traditional Christmas goodies?  Yeah.  That's it…

My favorite Christmas cookies are those made by anyone but me!  I'm A) a lousy cookie maker, and B) bored to tears by cookie making.

My favorite Christmas cookie is one we call Russian Tea Balls.  Butter and pecans, what could be better!

I was also going to try my hand at marshmellows this year. I have a book with all kinds. They sound yummy.

Who would have thought a city girl would live halfway up a mountain…and have chickens?

Kathie do you have a recipe to share for the Russian Tea Balls over in Just Recipes?  Butter and pecans are wonderful, would love your tried and true recipe!!

My mom wants to try marshmallows, too.  I've gotten her the ingredients, but I haven't seen a marshmallow yet! Laugh

All the cooking shows are making marshmallows this year, it seems!  Can we count them as Christmas cookies if we make them ourselves?   Happy Flower

Those professional TV folks sure make it look easy!

PS  I DID look for it, but never did find that recipe for the marshmallow cream/peanut butter/choc chip microwave fudge.

This might be a good time to remind everyone that there are a LOT of recipes in the old Community Cookbook that have not made it over to the "new" Farm Bell Recipes site.  Maybe if we could each find any cookie recipe we posted long ago and move them over to FBR??
