It just ocurred to me that there is a dehydrating thread, a thread on canning and Whats For Dinner topic, but how about baking? Do any of you folks bake regularly? oh yes, the bread thread has been great but what about cookies or pies or buckles? I am wondering what you are baking…

I made Martha Stewarts Sugar Cookie recipe. I froze half for the holidays and let the men in my house have at the other half. i have tried many a sugar cookie recipe and this is THE ONE. Crinkly and moist with lots of texture. Sometimes i add lemon juice and zest for a different flavor, sometimes vanilla. Sometimes I dip the cold cookies in melted dark chocolate then drizzle with white chocolate. Its a pretty verastile cookie.
