yea!yes!&yes!!! just where to begin Cassie..ok Boo Bugs

.ketchup,BBQ sauce, mustard for decorating Boo Bugs

    1. heat oven to 375*. unroll dough seperate at perforations in 12 breadsticks

2.wrap dough around the center of each weenie, pinch to seal leaving each end exposed place seam side down and 1/2 inch apart on ungreased LARGE cookie sheet

    3. bake 11 to 14 minutes or golden brown, immediately remove from cookie sheet place on a tray or plate LET THEM COOL so no little fingers get burnt

    4. insert chow mein noodles into the baked dough to resemble legs and antennaes. Decorate "bugs" with dots or stripes of ketchup,BBQ sauce,or mustard

Dip for Boo Bugs                          items needed

. 1 cup ranch  dressing                      1 small storage bag

 . 1 Tablespoon ketchup                     1 tooth pick

spread dressing in 9" pie plate. Spoon ketchup in a small resealable storage bag, cut a tiny hole in bottom corner, sqesse the bag to make a coil of ketchup on the dressing then drag a tooth pick thru the coil from center out to make a spider web. Hope  you and your Lil' Goblins enjoy this onehug

                                       Abracaadabra Hats

preheat oven to 375*

1 package refrigerated cresent rolls 8 ( I make my own dough)

1/2 teaspoon dried basil leaves (optional)

16 pepperoni slices

3 to 4 slim jim sticks cut into 2 inch pieces (I use leftover weenies from Boo Bugs)

2 cups pizza or marinara sauce

Seperate doughplace dough on a work space gently shape into triangles, sprinkle with basil.

Cut pepperoni into crescent moon shapes (I use my small bisquit cutter)each slice makes 2  crescent moons. place slim jim or cocktail weenie along the base of each dough triangle. Partially roll up dough to cover the slim jim or weenie to create the brim of the hat. Place 2 crescents on the top part of the hat; place on ungreased nonstick baking sheet. Bake 12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Warm sauce and serve with hats for dipping sauce

Jello jigglers   Mix a package of orange jello and grape jello.  It makes black and then cut out with Halloween cookie cutters.

Are y'all posting these recipes over at FBR?  Please??  (And please be sure to check the "Holiday" category.)

Also, there is a recipe request spot there.  If it is used, then everyone registered will see it, and the recipes should start flowing!

There really is a good reason for my asking.  Topics in the forum tend to get buried after a short time, and the search function can be a bit temperamental.  That is why Farm Bell Recipes was added!  We can find them!!

Thanks!

Thank you, Cassie!  Isn't that a great function??  We used to get soooo frustrated when we knew something was here, somewhere, and could not find it again.

You can dip nutter butter bars in white chocolate and while still soft put on mini choc chips for eyes and you have ghosts.

I have also done a meat loaf shaped like a foot with red pepper slices for toe nails.

We use small shell macaroni and cheese and call it cheesey bat ears.  My kids called peas monster boogers!  Grose but it fit with the halloween theme.

We some times pound a boneless chicken breast to semi flat and then cut fingers so it looks like a hand, bread and bake it and call it werewolf hands.  I miss little people being around.  I can't wait to have grand children because I love Halloween soooooo much.

You can go to Family Fun magazine on line and they will give you ooodles of ideas too.  Good luck and have fun.  Welcome also.

Just so everyone knows, our WV Bound Ladies are working on posting the recipes over at FBR.  Then we can have them both places.  Hurray!

I just made the abracadabra hats with the kids. It was so much fun. We didn't have pepperonis though. My husband forgot to buy them. It's ok, we just left them out and they were still fun and yummy. Thanks WVBL!
