I have made the dough enhancer several times and it works great but I still have a question. Will food grade citric acid work instead of the ascorbic acid? I have that on hand and not the ascorbic acid. Today is bread making day and I just ran out of homemade dough enhancer. I have all the ingredients except ascorbic acid.
