OfflineUntil I tasted the real buttermilk left from making butter! I've been making butter since February and have only used the buttermilk for baking and cooking. But DS asked to taste it the other day and said, "yum!" I thought, really? It's does not have the sour taste at all like I remember from my childhood. It's actually sweet, which makes sense. Butter is sweet, milk is sweet, cream is sweet. Who knew?
