Peppers in tomato sauce?

Do any of you remember awhile back when the canning members of CITR were making peppers in tomato sauce? For use or for canning. I remember something about a #10 size can of tomato sauce? If I remeber correctly Dede, Pete, and Suzanne were some of the people in the replies. If any of you could point me to the right place, I would sure appreciate it. I've looked everywhere I can think under recipes and communtity cookbook. Cool

kathy, I hope I am not leading you on the wrong path, but I think what you are looking for is in the CITR community cookbook listed under Vegetables and Sides. It's Italian peppers in tomato sauce (canning recipe)Hungry  Good luck. mommafox in Iowa

Those are some very good peppers!  Thanks for reminding us all.

The day I did those, I ran out of prepared peppers, so had some of the tomato sauce, now infused with olive oil and peppers, left.  So, I canned it up as well!  The little bit left was wonderful on English muffins, sort of a mini pizza deal.  And the rest that is canned will be terrific spaghetti sauce base, or pizza suace, or any number of things!
