OfflineNope. No safety issues at all. You'll probably see some loss of color when you cook them, and because what blanching does is stop the enzymes from continuing to act on the veggies, there may be some loss of nutritional value, but it's not going to hurt you or your family.
I'd try to it up pretty quick is all.

I purchased a large bag of broccoli at Sams and instead of checking out directions on freezing (I was busy) I put half of them in a in a freezer bag and into the freezer it went. Are there safety issues with not blanching first?
