OfflineI used the ultrapasturized half & half and made cream cheese and it was perfect. Thanks to Leah's Mom getting it through my thick skull about the difference between the fresh cheeses and the hard and cooked cheeses. I am still working on getting some good milk to try these, but things are a little hectic right now! I will be patient.![]()

OfflineWe're back! And I made mozzarella this week AND string cheese. Yes, it works! When I was stretching the cheese, I just continued so that I had a longish rope. I sort of rolled it into the thickness I wanted and cut it into 6 inch lengths. Worked great. Haven't showed it to DS yet, but I'm pretty sure he is going to love it. Cheese is one of our go-to snacks when his energy is lagging mid-morning…usually around math time. ![]()
