I didn't want to say anything until we had actually sampled the addition of vodka to the pie crust, but I was told this was the best pie crust my family has ever eaten!!
I didn't have vodka in the house, but I did have a quart jar of homemade vanilla!!!! I used a 1/4 cup of my homemade vanilla replacing 1/4 cup of water in Suzanne's recipe…………and it was WONDERFUL!!!! There was the hint of vanilla to go with my apple and cherry pies!!!!
