Fresh fish are always first choice but there is a need for the frozen too, and yeah, i wish I would have complained to the store now. I never really thought of it till marymac posted this, then I seen it wasnt just me. I bet you're right though, it's something they are doing, not us. I know what I had I tried to make it a couple different ways and it was just no good, I had to throw it out.
What fish do you catch?

We mostly go for pan fish – bluegills, crappies, yellow perch. The lake we used to fish hardly got fished at all, so the pan fish got pretty big. My father-in-law taught me how to filet even the little ones. Sometimes now we go trout fishing, but they are mostly all stocked, not native, so it just doesn't seem quite as much fun.
