Oh, yum, Cindy!  Be right there.    Devil

Just a cup of coffee here so far.  Thinking about some biscuits and chocolate gravy…

Mango flavored bagels!! You are getting ceative with out new found technique.  I had the standard go to work breakfast: old-fashioned oatmeal with raisins, etc.  Then I got the call that school was canceled.  Ice storm is imminent.

Everyone here slept in this morning, but Tea Bread (the one made with TEA, not just served with tea!) is in the oven.  This time made with English Breakfast Tea and cranberries.  Yummy.  We are really enjoying that recipe!

I had a fried egg with a slice of swiss cheese on toasted beer bread!

Clover made me do it.

Hmm.  An egg.  Might have to try some of this tea bread toasted later with a poached egg on it…

Buckeye Girl:  Irish oatmeal can be made in a crockpot.  Start it in the evening, set on low and it will be ready in the morning.  I haven't tried it but have a nurse friend who recommended this last week.  I don't like the instant  or the 5 minute ones.  Reminds me too much of wallpaper glue!

I guess my morning are quite boring.  I have the same thing everyday!  OJ, Eggo waffles with fresh blueberries on top and coffee!  That's it .. . every, every day.  I love Eggos!  Or any waffles for that matter.

I love waffles, too, and I've never made any homemade ones before but I want to try soon.  I have a wafflemaker thingy.

This morning–beer bread, toasted, with butter and strawberry jam.

Clover made me do it.

I had oatmeal with raisins…but for dessert I had home canned cranberry relish topped with homemade yogurt.  (I love being a "grown-up", you can have dessert after breakfast if you want.)Laugh

I'm getting a jump on St Patty's Day.  I always fix green scrambled eggs, toast and green oj for my kids.  They are both gone now so I guess I get to try it out on my husband this year.  One year we even had green syrup and ketchup.  The ketchup was nasty and I can't find the green syrup anymore.  It is amazing at what a little blue food coloring will do to eggs and juice.  I miss having little ones around.  Maybe I'll  have grand babies someday.  Happy Day to all.

I behaved so good today with oatmeal and berries. Now I want something gooey and bad for me, Suzanne. I suppose strawberries count as fruit, right? May have to bake a cake.

Or I'll just console myself with a "Fritoes and mayonaisse" sandwich for lunch.

Progress might have been all right once, but it has gone on too long.  Ogden Nash

I think strawberry cake definitely qualifies as fruit for breakfast!

Top o'  the mornin' to ya'all.  I was really bad; deer sausage gravy and biscuits.  It will only get worse as the day goes on, Irish soda bread, corned beef, cabbage and colcannon topped off with coffee and Bushmill's Black Irish whiskey.   Tomorrow is another day and will have water!

Ever since I can have solid food (about 15 months?? lol) I eat a sandwich with chocolate sprinkles for breakfast.

I know it sounds weird, but being Dutch is is quite normal…and after visiting my partents this month..I stocked up again.

I should be good till Christmas Shimmy

Breakfast this morning was a blueberry bagel with whipped cream cheese, in the car while driving to work!

Don't cry because it's over—smile because it happened!

I had a double chocolate scone and some cranberry juice.  Gotta still tweak the scone recipe to make it taste even more chocolatey!
