Hi, the tea bread sounds really good. I'm new so I think I missed the recipe. Would someone be able to give it to me? I would really appreciate it.

Thank you,

I made yeasted pancakes again, only this time instead of milk I substituted whey that is just coming off my hanging cream cheese.  These were absolutely divinely soft and fluffy.  I was afraid that without milk they would lack in richness or flavor…they were great.  Not heavy at all.

Patty, the fun thing about this recipe is that you can tweak it to make it yours, using different tea and dried fruit combinations.  I don't line the bread pans, I just spray them and it comes out fine.  I also add 2 T of oil to the batter.  The sky is the limit to the different tea/fruit combinations.  Have fun!  And the slices are so pretty with the colorful fruit in it.

Someone brought me blueberry biscuits from Hardee's this morning.  They are a treat occasionally, and really hit the spot this morning!

I've been using my whey from my ricotta cheese for my whole wheat bread………wow!  it's so light and fluffy and just wonderful!

Cindy, I love love love when I have whey to use in baking bread!!!!!  That's the BEST!

Today, I'm thinking (back to breakfast)–cheesecake with my homemade strawberry syrup.  That's a pretty decadent breakfast, LOL.

Clover made me do it.

Ahhh, yes, but the food value in there is wonderful!   Eggs, cheese.  No bacon grease!  Health food!!

Made tea bread late last night for breakfast this morning.  Yummy – green tea with apricots this time.  (Not my favorite, and will probably not do this combo again.)

Today I gave my husband the leftover cornbread, and am thus far without breakfast. This is what I get for not baking bread last night, which I knew I should have done…

…on the plus side, I have leftover lentils and rice ready for lunch. Hurrah!

2 cups of coffee, a banana, and a cup of milk.  I went back on Weight Watchers last week and that has become my standard breakfast.  Oh well. Lost 6.3 pounds the first week.

Honey-wheat toast and black coffee. Gotta pick up the two-year-old and then go do gardening at church… better make sure it's a lot of coffee.

I dunno yet, maybe just toast and lots of coffee, too!   We want to get out and down the road to set the big crane set the neighbor's modular home.  Big excitement in these parts!

Toad in the hole and tea. I was reading a magazine article in which a girl scout troop made tin can cookers and used them after a hike to cook there own lunches. That's what they made and it made me hungry.

Oh yes, I like weight watchers very much, it's a common sense sort of thing and you can learn good habits about fat, fiber and starch and such that can last a lifetime.

I had a hard boiled egg and some rye toast and a banana.  …and coffee of course! too much coffee probably but caffeine is about the only drug I use so there you go.  (an occasional aspirin is the other! lol )

If tomatoes are a fruit, then isn’t ketchup technically a

smoothie?
