Mamajhk--put those patties on a bun with some cheese, sliced onion a little "secret" sauce and you have a whole new meal. wink

I could do that with one or two but some of them are falling apart (I think I used too much liquid).  I am thinking more like crumbling them up and adding cooked macaroni.

Could you break them up and turn them into sloppy joe's?

Yeah, they would work for that also.

Sloppy Joe's sound good, so we will have them along with oven fried potato wedges and salad.

Not sure yet but think I will probably be morphing those Salisbury steaks into something.

Tonight we are doing a bit of tapas style dining. I was given a Copper Crisper set and decided to try it tonight. Going to make poppers, wings and mozzarella sticks. I am anxious to see how everything turns out.

I tried the Copper Crisper (the one shown on TV) and was quite happy with the results. The one I received came from Amazon, not the infomercial site.

Glad to hear hear that you liked the Copper Crisper, Joelle.  We are going to be having sandwiches with freshly made sourdough bread  in the bread  machine.  I started the starter last Sunday and needed to use part of it so this is what I am doing.  Future plans include a sourdough pizza crust.

Hi Mamajhk--I love sourdough bread! You are so creative.

Th crisper is just another item that I receive from the boys, over the years I have received just about every gadget  you can think of and everything seems to relate to cooking! I will probably use it several times and then send it home with my oldest Son and a bag of frozen wing and then it will probably end up in the back of his cupboard, but I do appreciate the thought.

Well, I have never made sourdough before so wanted to try it.  Hubby says it is okay but a little dry for his taste.  I can't remember having it before. I made this batch in my breadmaker.  I have recipes for a pizza crust and bread made by hand that I will try.

It is a very cold, very windy and snowy day--miserable. Yesterday I went into the city and on the way home picked up a box of Popeye's chicken -love it. Tonight I am re-running the chicken with some BBQ sauce and we'll have that with some oven fried potato wedges.  Cherry pie for later.

Just got back from the grocery, the steaks were on sale so we picked up a nice steak, which we will share for dinner along with mushrooms, baked potatoes and a nice salad.

                    Happy St. Patrick's day!

This morning I put a corned beef brisket in the slow cooker, will add cabbage, carrots, and potatoes later. It will probably take 2 days to air out the house. wink

Sounds good, Joelle.  What time is supper?  I think we are having burgers and fries so that I can try out my new french fry cutter gadget.
