Since I am doing nothing today--acting like royalty today--we are having pizza for dinner--from the pizza place---sometimes it's good to be the queen!!
Have been under doctors orders to take it easy for a few days.

We had chicken salad sandwiches made from leftover store bought rotisserie chicken from last night. Will be have a few more leftovers made from it in the next few days.

Yesterday we had rain---so much rain. I decided to bake a cake, and then in the afternoon a couple of friends drop by, after a while I asked them to stay for dinner. I had planed tacos for two, but that turned into taco salads for four, it worked, and then we had desert and coffee a bit later. A nice day.

We went store today and purchased the items I need to make Sandwich spread--you West Virginia folks know what I am talking about. Also picked up some potato buns and a bag of chips.
Stopped at the bakery at picked up a chocolate cake--dinner is served.

It is going to be another hot day here as well. I am going to make some potato salad to go with what ever we decide to have, either burgers or sandwiches and then cake for later.

Tonight, with company, we'll have tortellini with pesto, salad with yogurt/cucumber/dill dressing, pickled beets and eggs. 
For dessert there is cherry pie that didn't sell at Sunday's Farmers' Market.

Tonight we are having Italian sausage sandwiches with peppers and onion, all cooked in an electric skillet on our back porch. It is raining ---again, and I didnt feel like messing with the grill and didnt want the house to smell like onions for the next several days.
