As a joke, we put some plastic easter eggs…all colors, in the duck area to play a joke on our youngest daughter for easter morning. Well, she thought is was kind of funny, but we missed the big reveal. She saw them and didn't have much of a reaction I guess. Well, we left them in there and they fell between some bales. Today, the kids went out to let them out and noticed that one hen was missing. They searched around and found her in the hut, incubating her new "eggs" of all colors. How funny! I told them to leave them under her. Maybe she will start laying and hatch a few real ones. I am hoping…

Nothing like an easter duck! lol Doesn't lay the golden eggs…but sits on the rainbow ones. 

Ha! The one hen (maybe 2 of them) has laid about 8 eggs so far, plus she has an added orange plastic one. The other plastic ones split. lol I think it is funny that she included it in her nest. She isn't setting yet, just in the laying stage. We haven't go a picture yet, but want to.
