Anyone having a problem posting to the forum?? The front part is messed up…daily farm at least…but wondering about this side?

It seems to be in Firefox that there's an issue……it will open in Chrome and IE8. You may need to clear the cache to view it, it pulls up the Service Interruption post for me before I cleared cache.

Early this morning I could not post anything here in the forum, but that had passed by somewhere in the neighborhood of 9-ish, give or take. Now trying to access the Daily Farm is locking up my computer – have tried several different ways, both loggin in and not logged in etc. Figured I'd just wait until in the morning – perhaps it's the phase of the moon…

I am still having the problem by clicking on 'post new reply' and it takes me back to page one, without posting! I have to make sure I copy everything or I will have to rewrite it. It does not happen every time, but sometimes it take me 3 times before it will post. I have super bad satilite internet so I'm not sure if it is my problem or the sites.
(this is my 2ed attempt)

I'm sorry MaryB but this doesn't seem to be on the server side. It sounds like it just may be the satellite connection. Does that happen on any other sites you visit?
I have once or twice clicked on the "Cancel" button by mistake instead of the "Post New Reply" button, but it doesn't sound like that's what it is for you.

No, only here, BuckeyeGirl, and it's happened enough times that I am aware where I am clicking and it's on the post button. It's ok, I just thought I'd mention it just in case there were help.
I do know soon as they bring DSL out here, I'm jumping on it. :)

I just tried to open Suzanne's "Looky" post, could get the post ok but when I tried to click on the responses I got a blank gray flickering page. Everything else seems to work ok so far. I do use Firefox.

Ditto on the "Looky". I get a message "internet not responding" and have to disconnect and go back into CITR site. Some sort of gremlin sneaked into the program when no one was looking!

Take note–there is now a second Mammy Jane book–it is being donated by Theresa, who won the Mammy Jane book in the giveaway I had a few weeks ago. She's read it now and wants to pass it on. In order to avoid confusion, I renamed the first topic LIST 1: Traveling Mammy Jane Book, and have now started a separate topic called LIST 2: Traveling Mammy Jane Book. If you are far down the first list, you may re-sign up in LIST 2 and we will delete your post from LIST 1. If you are far down the list, you will probably get the book faster by signing up in LIST 2. (You can't be signed up in both lists, so if you sign up in LIST 2, we will delete your post from LIST 1.)
You can stay right where you are in LIST 1 if you want to. It's your choice! Either way, the book will get to everyone a lot faster with two books!

Heads up! There will be a forum update late tonight. There will also be some work done on Farm Bell Recipes. The entire site will be in "maintenance mode" and inaccessible while this is going on. Many of you may be seeing blank posts or wondering why your comment didn't post.
Last night, while trying to fix a minor problem with posting photos from photobucket, a code was changed/deleted that was crucial to the rest of the forum.
It's all fixed now! Sorry!!!
None of the posts came back, so I will delete the blank ones. Go ahead and post your comments again!

Thanks, Suzanne! I was thinking, "now what did I do wrong?" Glad to know it wasn't just me. I posted a few posts just to see if it would work (it wouldn't) so mine were some of the ones lost. Can't remember what they said though.
