Hey all, I just wanted to say that Mozilla Firefox just had an update that has fixed a lot of things that had me moderately annoyed with it.

It was a bit of a tossup about which bothered me more, IE problems, or FF problems… neither was horrible but neither was perfect either IMO.  I used IE for years and years at work and just went along with it at home till recently, when I decided FF was a better if still flawed option.

Now with this update, all reservations have been erased, and I am now a true convert.

Just thought I'd let folks know that if they've been waffling, try the updated version to see if it's better.  (Perhaps the biggest improvement is you can now tell your computer to use FF as the primary browser, instead of having to open things specially)

I have tried signing in with all lower case letters in my name,  as well as the usual way,  I have tried it both ways with both my old password (which works here) and the new password I got this morning,  nothing seems to work,  I keep getting the same response password not accepted.

Dear Cindy,  Thanks for trying so hard to help me with my inability to post to Farm Bell.   I got your EMail, printed it out and followed directions (I am not very good on the computer) but though I am able to get logged to the site, Farm Bell seems to be beyond me.   To begin with it looked as if using password was working but then when I changed to my own password in profile it does not work,  maybe I just don't need to post that cucumber soup recipe.   Sorry to be so feeble wave

Have you tried signing back in with the password I sent you?  The problem may have been we were asking the system to change passwords too many times and too fast together.  OR email me back the password and I will put it in your profile :)

Does anyone know how long it takes for a recipe to be posted on Farm Bell Recipes? I posted the peach pie filling about 30 minutes ago and I don't see it?surprised

It's there now!

It depends on when a mod or admin can approve the recipes.  We don't have regular set hours that each of us work on the sites, but as we each have time to pop in and approve recipes as they've been added happy-flower

BROKEN LINK:

Check out my Farmhouse Table page,

Joyce and Cindy: I had the same round-a-bout problems with Farm Bell vs. CITR passwords. Then I began to wonder if the 'remember me' choice was the problem… Site remembered me and my CITR password, which is different than me and my FB password. I was so glad to be able to sign onto each, that I have not tested this theory.

however, I can't find where I was. I do remember, however, that on the page was the direction

Missing link, report here, or directions to that effect. Which lead me here.

Bonita, I think that was before Suzanne's blog was split up into different pages — cooking, crafts, garden, barn, country living.  That page is actually the Cooking Archive page now. http://chickensintheroad.com/c…../archives/

Hope that helps!

Hi everyone! I read the blog all the time and always want to go back to posts in the Barn especially to show DH but I can never find them again. It is probably something very simple (to look back at a list, or ?) but I can't quite think of it right now. Tips? Thanks!
