We did manage to get the lines attached and should be ready to use in  a couple of days want to make sure the cement footing gets firmly set up.

Got a start on cleaning up the pots but hubby needed help with another project so didn't get as much done as I had hoped but at least it is started.

Sometimes I think I didn't get much done and then I look back go "Yes, I did" sometimes it is a lot of little things that I have put off doing that get done.

I am going to try something different this year with my container plants.  I am going to reuse the potting soil that I had and get some compost to add to it.  Anyone done this?

Great progress!!!

I know sometimes I think the same thing about not getting much done.  Then I think of all the little stuff that got done, but you don't really notice and then I feel better.

We are renovating our basement and I have my sewing business set up in the kitchen.. omg talk about not being able to keep it cleaned up in there.  I try but before I know it's looks the dining room table has exploded.  We'll have a computer/craft room when it's all done.  So at least then the mess will be out of site :)

I have used last years potting soil to fill the bottom of pots and put fresh to fill it or have mixed the two before filling.  I think adding the compost would work great.

I visit every once in a while...but not too often. I miss everyone too. Family, work and health has kept me busy. I am retiring this year so hope to be a daily visitor again starting this summer! happy-flower

Cheryl

Just a word to the wise craft rooms have a way of overflowing into other rooms.  I know from experience and that room (which is also my sewing room) as well as the game room needs to be cleaned thoroughly.  It never seems to get done.

Hi Mary,

I was laughing while reading your post.... yep I'm sure it will happen.  My crocheting can be found all over the house :)

One of our extra bedrooms is full of my fabric.  Poor Madison (our granddaughter) I showed here the room on Easter and laughed and said Grandma has to clean this up before you come to stay again.  She's 12 and had a good laugh.
