Free Book Friday: Look Who Got A Haircut

Mar
30

Dookie went to the groomer! Is he cute or what? They tried putting a bandana on him and I said, no, no, no, he must have a bow! A pretty blue one!!!

Guess how long that lasted when my tomboy princess got hold of him? How many minutes?
:fryingpan:

Continuing from last week to celebrate the new look and new name of the Silhouette Romantic Suspense line (can’t wait to see my first Haven cover in the new look!!), the winner gets to pick one of the March Silhouette Romantic Suspenses. Last week’s winner picked His Only Obsession by Beverly Barton, so this week’s winner can choose either Mission M.D. by Linda Turner, Shadow Surrender by Linda Conrad, or One Hot Target by Diane Pershing.

Okay, how long did that bow last?

Two minutes… long enough for her to chase the dog around and catch him.

I hate when they put those bows on my dog — they always put one on each ear, and pink. Ugh. She is so NOT a bow kinda girl.

    Happy weekend!

MinuteS?? As in plural??? It couldn’t possibly be more than one, and probably a lot less. How do I know? Because I used to try to get my cat to leave a bow in her fur for Christmas and she was quicker at getting it out than I was at putting it on!

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
