This is the autumn of the swamp.

Hope there aren’t any monsters.

I feel as if I’m missing out on fall because it’s been such a wet fall here.

Rain isn’t good for fall color. Storms make the leaves fall faster, cutting short what already feels like a short season.

I go outside to the soppy woods and take Autumn by the throat. Er, branch. Orange:

Yellow:

Red:

Some green, as a homage to summer:

I will keep Autumn in here with me, where it’s warm.

Maybe that will make her stick around just a little bit longer…….. I hear Winter creeping in the back door……
