Stealer

Me: “Morgan, are those my jeans?”

Her mouth quivers just a smidge. She is such a bad liar.

Morgan: “No.”

Me: “They are, too!!!”

Morgan: “They’re not!”

Me: “I’m missing some jeans!!!”

Me: “You better just hope when you are 44 that your 12-year-old daughter can wear your jeans!!!”

I think I deserve some pie now.

  4. Amber says:

:purpleflower: well, if my kids start wearing my clothes, I would worry about that, they are all boys. sigh* must be nice to have a daughter… :fairy: I think I will stick with the boys! lol

hmmmmm – it is so cold up there, I hope coco and dookie and the cats are inside by the fire – coco looks like he is have a great time and I guess he has a fur coat and all – I would have all the chickens and goats inside – hmmmm

also I forgot to comment on your seminar and lunch with christians, muslims and jews – yes we need more of that – living together my area is filled with all three persons.

now to the matter at hand – the teen borrowing the jeans – well be happy she can wear your jeans at 44!!!!! BTW- after those cookies a few days ago – how do you do it – yes I know we have asked before this nagging concern of ours – genetics for sure

  10. Kacey says:

Oh my gosh. What memories. I always borrowed my mom’s clothes when I was in high school. She had such cool clothes! Loved them.

  11. Nancy in Atlanta says:

You should feel complimented, Suzanne! Even if my daughter could have worn my clothes without swimming in them, she wouldn’t have been caught dead in them. On the other hand, I don’t think I would have wanted to wear some of the outfits she came up with! At 15 (mid-80s) the rage was to wear men’s boxer shorts on the outside – and I mean the real ones with snaps and all, not the special stitched front versions some opportunistic manufacturer came up with!

    And that’s a darling Spice photo…. :purpleflower:

  12. Mad Woman says:

Heck, I’m 29 and wish I could fit into MY mom’s jeans. I think I had too much pie…want mine?

  13. catslady says:

I sure wish my daughters and I were the same size – they buy things and are given things and they toss them out because they are no longer in style or they’re tired of them or they just never liked them etc. Heck, I have underwear older than them!!! and they’re short hahahahahaha My husband is barely 5’7″ (so he thinks) and I’m 5’5 1/2″. My oldest is almost 5’3″ and my youngest not even 5’2″ (doc said she was to be 5’7″). So they’re short and weigh at least 25 lbs. less (sigh).

  14. catslady says:

I forgot to add that I love the spice basket!!

  15. Treasia/TruckersWife says:

My bonus daughter, who’s 11, wears her mothers clothes and shoes. She matured very early. Poor Trucker. :hissyfit:

  16. Kay says:

Haha i was way too small to wear my mother’s jeans. My cousins are like that though.

My aunt and her three daughters (21, 20, 13?) all wear the same size of clothing, including shoes, pants and shirts. The only difference is 20 has (or used to have) a slightly bigger butt and 21 would pick on her for stretching out her good jeans. It’s quite funny how those four share EVERYTHING. 😆

I don’t think i have ever see them when they aren’t wearing one of the other’s clothing. Its also funny to shop with them because if one wants something but has run out of cash, and the other likes that same item. The other would buy the item and say something like “i’m gonna get to wear it anyway”. :bugeyed:

  17. Susan says:

    I’m so envious!

  18. Leah says:

Talk to the hand MOM! 😆 Me and my dtr used to share shirts, but not jeans cuz I’m 5’7 and she’s 5’9!

  19. Estella says:

Both of my daughters are taller and heavier than I am. They never could wear my shoes or clothes.

  20. Donna says:

Uh oh, Morgen…no more Grandmother’s bread, pie or cookies… :bugeyed: :bugeyed:

  21. Brandy says:

My 13 year old Daughter was stealing my shoes, then she outgrew them. Score one for Mom! *G* Now she’s stealing my gloves. And I wouldn’t complain, but it was 26 degrees here last night! *G*

  22. Gail says:

I don’t have a daughter to “borrow” my clothes, so I just keep eating pie, cake, cookies, candy…well, you get the picture!

Hey! I don’t think “stealer” is a word. Wouldn’t Morgan be more like a triumphant thief?

  23. the domestic fringe says:

This just hasta make you feel good! :fairy:
