Does she look like she’s ready to calm down any minute now?

I got a new contract for two more Silhouette Romantic Suspenses! :sheepjump:

Found out on Friday. Went to pick up 14 from football practice.

Me: “I sold two more books.”

14: “Okay.”

Me: “It’s a big deal. I’m excited.”

14: “You’ve sold a lot of books.”

Me: “I’m famous!”

14: “How come we’re not rich if you’re famous?”

Me: “Don’t get picky.”

Suzanne, I tried to email you (I think that’s me for free book Friday), but it won’t let me open Outlook by clicking through your site’s “email me.” :? ??: It doesn’t help that I’m techno-igno. LOL.

The Slanted Little House

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....
