My husband is threatening to call the people at TLC’s What Not To Wear.
Monday: t-shirt, shorts. Stay home.
Tuesday: t-shirt, shorts.. Go to Food Lion.
Wednesday: t-shirt, shorts. Stay home.
Thursday: t-shirt, shorts. Go to Food Lion.
Friday: t-shirt, shorts. Stay home.
Saturday: t-shirt, shorts. Go to soccer game. Husband orders me and my t-shirt, shorts, to stay in the car.
Sunday: nice outfit. Go to church. Go home. t-shirt, shorts.
Is there something wrong with t-shirts and shorts? It’s my Writer Look.
:::glancing over shoulder for Clinton and Stacy from What Not to Wear and their hidden camera::: Okay, truth, I’d take the $5000 credit card and the week trip to New York in a heartbeat to be on TLC despite the hidden camera embarrassment. (Honey, CALL THEM!) What about you? Would you let them take all your old clothes, throw them away, buy new clothes and let them cut your hair? On TV??

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

would not want to be on TV. So there you
go, it’s still my t-shirts, my 1 favorite
purple blouse and cotton slacks or jeans.

They give you outfits for special occasions (ie leaving the house) but still let you wear whatever the heck you want when you’re at home (jammies)!!

Suzanne, at least your T-shirts have sleeves. *snickering* I run around in tank tops. Now I have to know if you’re wearing flip-flops or tennies.
I’m a fashion rut slut. It is what it is. I could use a wee bit of help in that area.

Crystal, I wear sandals. Almost year-round. T-shirts and shorts, too. This worked better in Texas where it was warmer…..

Back away from the wardrobe Trinny and Susannah. You’re not laying your skinny-ass judgements on my clothing choices. So there.
Having said that… I own no shorts and only a couple of T-shirts (which I rarely wear). It’s never warm enough to wear shorts over here, and my legs never see the light of day anyway. And crew-neck tops make me feel like I’m choking.
Do I sound mad enough yet?
Mostly at home I wear sweats with a vareity of cami-pajama tops (you know, the pretty hidden bra-top ones) and an ever growing collection of cardigans. If I feel outrageous I’ll wear a skirt and a shawl…
And you so wish I was kidding.
