Morgan?
MORGAN! It’s time for our annual festive holiday tableau, Assistant!
Hmph. (Some people don’t appreciate the honor of assistantship bestowed upon them.) Let’s GO, Morgan!
She’s making a list.
She’s checking it twice.
She’s gonna find out who’s naughty and nice.
Santa Calf is coming to town!
Dumplin: “I don’t want to go to town!”
“I just want to go to mommy!”
Come on, Dumplin. This is a big job. A starring role. It’s been handed to you this year. Make the most of it! You’re a star! Or a starlet! It’s your BIG BREAK!
“You’re not eating me after this, Lady!!”
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Sassafras Farm!
P.S. No calves were harmed in the making of this festive holiday tableau.

"It was a cold wintry day when I brought my children to live in rural West Virginia. The farmhouse was one hundred years old, there was already snow on the ground, and the heat was sparse-—as was the insulation. The floors weren’t even, either. My then-twelve-year-old son walked in the door and said, “You’ve brought us to this slanted little house to die." Keep reading our story....

Merry Christmas, and yes, as soon as I saw a hat on that baby, I knew she’ll probably stay.
I also wanted to ask about Howl’s Moving Castle! Can Morgan please post about it to her blog? Anyone who loves Darcy and Lizzie clearly has reliable taste.
By the way, that last photo looks like the makings of an irresistible Christmas card. Enjoy the remaining holidays!
