But are you milking her? Clover, that is, not the babies. Who are insanely cute.
On August 20, 2010 at 2:25 am
Suzanne McMinn says:
I’m not milking Clover yet. I want the babies to have her fulltime right now.

bonita says:
cute x 10^3, but I have a problem in determining scale/size. About how tall is sailor? How long nose to rump? I’ve never seen a goat in person and even though the pix are great, I get some sense of scale only when Clover is ‘accepting’ a cookie from you. [I do, however, get that BP is big. I’ve seen real cows!] thnx

I’d be interested to hear what Clover has to say about all of this. Is she feeling neglected or have the cookies increased?
On August 20, 2010 at 7:43 am
Karen Anne says:
Are the babies getting cookies, or is it too early for solid food?
On August 20, 2010 at 7:51 am
Suzanne McMinn says:
Karen Anne, the babies do play at eating, but their digestive tracts aren’t that developed yet. I noticed the lambs playing at eating very early, too. I think at this stage it’s just imitating mama.

Tammy/psmflowerlady says:
I think the only thing that could possibly lower the Kids on the cute scale would be a calf. So, til Beulah comes through, I say Keep ’em coming!

Brenda Evans says:
Oh my goodness no – never get tired of them they are so darn cute. I do have a question – are they big enough to go outside yet or do they mainly stay inside with mama. I’ve never been around baby goats so didn’t know if they are like other babies that stay really close to mama for quite awhile. I’ll bet Clover is a really good mom.
On August 20, 2010 at 9:41 am
Suzanne McMinn says:
So far the babies are in the goat house with Clover. They’re so little, they will easily escape under the gate, and I’m afraid of the dogs “playing” with them!
