We did the usual egg hunt in the yard………….. Okay, how OLD is too old for an egg hunt? It was cute when they were toddlers, but I’m starting to wonder, LOL. And yet, I don’t want to give it up!!!!! I make them pretend to believe in Santa Claus, too………… NO PRESENTS FOR YOU IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE IN SANTA! I’m kinda like the Soup Nazi (from Seinfeld). I’m the Santa Nazi!!!!

We wanted to do one this year, but we ended up not doing. I don’t think there is ever such a thing as too old.

What do you mean by saying there is no Santa Clause? There is too. My grandsons would no lie to their Memaw. I will not listen to anyone who says there’s not. The Easter bunny is real and the tooth fairy also. I love to hide and hunt Easter eggs with the family. Psst. don’t listen to those non-believers, okay?

I think I once must have believed in the Easter Bunny. I still have photos of my parents, one of their friends and me looking for Easter eggs. I don’t know if I suspected it then or projected it onto my younger self later that the friend was actually dropping the eggs as we walked across the meadow.
When I was older, I always his the eggs for the my younger siblings and cousins or any other kids that happened to be around. It was always fun.

Ach, typing dyslexia. :hissyfit: “I always *hid* the eggs….” And here in London, ON, I hid them for my nephews and nieces when we still had my mother’s house.
