I Love This House

I’m so happy here. Early spring has come with such a good feeling. The past few months have had their difficulties, but the good times are about to roll at Sassafras Farm. I can feel it.

Yesterday, I ran into Jill from Spencer at Wal-Mart and was able to give her a hug and thank her for standing up for her stove. Then I ran into one of the Seans (superboys). Do you not run into everybody in the world at Wal-Mart? We discussed fencing plans for this weekend. Crossing fingers we aren’t rained out.

In the “more good news” department: THE BULL HAS BEEN ON BP! I have no firm expectations with BP. I tell myself she is just along to babysit Glory Bee. But I continue to hold faith in her, and hope. She is my cow. I love her.

And more, more good news: Coco’s wound is nearly completely healed. Her joint has grown stronger with the support of the splint. She may be able to come home next week. I will let you know. We want her home so badly! We try to be patient while the best is done for her.

Spring, time for great new beginnings. I am glad you had a fairly mild winter for your first year. Just enough to guide you to the important things that needed taken care of to make future winters not so difficult :happyflower:
So many joyful things to be thankful for…your studio, coco recovering well, a good solution for your breeding your cos, a new horse joining the family.
Sassafras Farm is certainly a great new beginning for you and your whole family! :sun:

  22. Murphala says:

:purpleflower: Your happiness is spreading like sunshine. Could this explain the unseasonably warm weather? It’s not global warming! It’s Suzanne!
