Merry, merry Christmas from–
Clover: “Excuse me.”
“I did not agree to participate in this event.”
“I refuse to be humiliated in this way.”
“It’s not in my contract.”
“You aren’t the boss of me.”
“I am not wearing this hat.”
“I said, I am not wearing this hat!”
“I’ll get you for this.”
We now return to our regularly scheduled virtual Christmas card.
Merry, merry Christmas from all of us at Stringtown Rising Farm!

I’m surprised she didn’t eat the hat! Next year I expect to see her in tights and a complete elfin costume. I’m up way too late, I looked at those eggs and thought the pioneer woman had left you a special Christmas surprise.
Love your blog, wish I lived on the Stringtown Estate.

I need to send her cookies.

Hahaha, hohoho, what a wonderful Christmas morning surprise! Give that Clover a bucket of cookies, she certainly deserves them! (How totally embarrassing for her to be locked up and forced to take such degrading pictures for all the world to see. It’s something I would do to my cats! ha!). God bless you and your loved ones, and that includes your wonderful fur babies!

All the best to you and yours in this season and in the new year, Suzanne. And thank you so much for all the laughter and recipes and interesting info you’ve given us this year. Nancy in Atlanta says:
Ohhh, I hope it was a wonderful day! Please tell Clover that her patience was well worth it – she did a superb job! And I keep forgetting to tell you I love her chin whiskers – do goat whiskers have a proper name? I spent today with friends, but will have my daughter, SIL, and oldest granddog, Banjo, back tomorrow on their way home to Iowa. She posted photos of Banjo learning about the ocean at Hilton Head today – in 78 degree weather!!! Can you imagine? I’d rather have your snow, though. Thanks again for all you’ve shared with us. :catmeow:
