Another Rural Mystery Solved



One little, two little–


–horses galloping past my window.

What is this I see now?
One little donkey
coming around the side of the porch.

Is that a sheep?
One little, two little, three little–

Horses, donkey, and sheep in my yard, oh my.

But why?


If the farmer shuts
the gates, the livestock don’t get out!

    With all of your cute animals, I bet you could do a real live Manger scene using your animals, I bet they would all stand still and pose for a photo that would be perfect for a Christmas card or screen saver 😉

    They just wanted a cup of hot cocoa. With marshmallows. With real whipped cream up on top. It would be awful if the poor ilil’ things didn’t get any treats while they’re trying figure out where their sweet green grass has gone for the season. 😉 😀
