We have a baby!
This is how I discovered Glory Bee yesterday afternoon.
Two little hooves! And a little head…
Glory Bee didn’t really want to talk about it, but I knew THIS WAS MY CHANCE! Finally! I ran inside for my camera and took a video of the entire birth.
Dumplin tried to help.
It’s a GIRL.
Her name is Moon Pie.
She looks just like daddy. Daddy was a mixed breed beef bull from up the road. Daddy:
She was quickly on her feet and nursing.
Mommy, baby, and big sister are all doing well!

What a wonderful event and thnk you for sharing it with us.
It is amazing that animals know just what to do when they give birth, It was nice of Dumplin to be on hand just incase she was needed.
I love the name, Moonpies are one of my favorite snacks.

She’s very cute. Moon Pie is a good name for someone so sweet. She seemed pretty blasé about this whole being born process. She and Glory Bee and Dumpling make a nice family group. You’re getting yourself a nice little dairy herd there.
