Ross and his girlfriend brought this home on July Fourth. I think I should keep him and name him George Washington. You?
He looks like a George.

(Number Nine needs a playmate, ya know!!!! WHAT’S ONE MORE?)

  1. Kathleen in Michigan says:

George works. I am glad you decided to name him instead of just giving out numbers.

  2. Runningtrails says:

LOL! What’s that now, 10? You do have the room for him and how can you say no? He’s cute. Maybe some cats should be strictly outdoor barn cats?

  3. Kendra says:

He does look like a “George”. I think he’s cute!

  4. Diane says:

George is good. He is cute. Is he going to be an out door cat or indoor. Or go inbetween??

    • Kathy says:

I think that George is a very lucky cat. Thank you for making a difference in one more cat’s life! If only there were more people who could make room for just one more or just spay/neuter one stray. What a difference this would make!

  5. Bee says:

Love that face. How could you not keep him?
And George is a perfect name.

  6. flutterby says:

Here’s a new moniker for Suzanne: “Pet Magnet”.

  7. Box Call says:

No mice on that farm. A blacksnake would starve to death!

  8. Nancy K. says:

Of course, once you factor in: vet check, shots, deworming & flea and tick control your free kitty will run you at least $100 ~ a YEAR!

Not to say you shouldn’t keep him ~ just a reminder, to EVERYone, that those adorable free kittens come with costly responsibilities. If you can afford it, bless your heart for taking on another soul! There’s no doubt it will reward you MANY times over….

  9. Sharon Elkins says:

Hopefully all those cats have been neutered, otherwise you will soon be known as a hoarder.

  10. Sheila Bergeron says:

  You have the sweatest caopassionate heart for animals. God bless you!

  11. BuckeyeGirl says:

Well, just don’t tell my one hen that you named a C-A-T the same thing as her!!! Of course, she was named after Curious George the monkey, because she cannot bear to be left out of anything and has to stick her nose, errr, I mean beak, in anything that anyone is doing. Yes, I know… sounds very cute and amusing. Thing is, it’s also a little annoying at times too! :chicken: :chicken:

  12. Kacey says:

Ah, how cute. I”m sure you NEEDED another kitty! Really.

  13. Nancy in Atlanta says:

You still need a horse and a llama….chuckle! George is certainly cute, but I’m surprised you didn’t name him Fourth, or Firecracker.

You rock, Suzanne!!! I see children’s books and a petting zoo in your future.

  14. Cece says:

This is my husband’s biggest feaer of having lots of land in the country (although he wants it as badly as I do), I would be a dog magnet. You rock, Suzanne!

  15. The Retired One says:

    He is ADORABLE.
How could you NOT keep him?

  16. Keeper of our Home says:

What a cutie pie! George is a great name for him.

    ~Mrs. M

  17. Amy Lynn says:

 Agreed! George it is! :shimmy:

  18. Su says:

    He’s adorable, and you ROCK!

  19. Lola-Dawn says:

Cute litte nose. Definately a George.

  20. Estella says:

George is a perfect name for him!
‘What’s one more’ is the reason I had 11 cats and 4 dogs.

  21. catslady says:

I like it. I just had someone as me if I wanted a cat (happens all the time) but I have 6 and don’t live on a farm so I usually only take in the ones that end up on my back porch – it’s all over once you see them lol.

  22. catslady says:

okay that was “ask” not as (sigh)

  23. KentuckyFarmGirl says:

Hi George and welcome to a pampered and spoiled life at Suzanne’s host. You’re a blog star now, ya know?

  24. Brandy says:

Been there recently did that! My Daughter found a black kitten a few weeks ago and she is now living with us, making the total number of inside cats we have-eight. *G* Not counting all the strays we feed outside. George sounds like a lovely name for such a cute kitty.

  25. Becky says:

Oh he’s cute!! George is a good name for him – we had a cat named George. Of course, you have to keep him – “found” animals make the best pets.

  26. Claudia W. says:

Welcome to your new world George. You are now frre to be a loved and well cared for kitty! Happy (late) 4th!

  27. Claudia W. says:

    That was free, not frre

  28. Christine says:

Ha, my first thought was Hitler not George. lol

I don’t know how you do it with that many cats. My brother’s two cats are visiting. The two of them plus my one is almost overwhelming. Why do they always have to be ON me?

  29. Bev says:

4 word you will soon be hearing…”that crazy cat lady”…..LOL

  30. Cathy says:

Bless you for giving this poor little guy a good home. Looks like he has a little boo-boo on his nose.

  31. Pam says:

    Awwwwwwwwwwwwww! Sooooooooooo cute!!!- Pam

  32. patchkat says:

Don’t know about the “George” part, but he’s one lucky little guy to have ended up at your place! Patchkat >^,,^< who has 17 kitties at last nose count.
