Somebody asked me the other day if I had a dressing recipe, and I realized that not everyone knows I posted mine last year. (What?!) In case you’re new around here, or in case you just forgot what I’ve already posted, or just in case you’re looking for some recipes for the coming week, here’s a recap of some of my favorite Thanksgiving recipes. I love Thanksgiving.
This weekend would be a good time to can some cranberry sauce before the big cooking week hits. Have some homemade cranberry sauce ready to go.

I have a traditional side dish rotation from amongst which I choose what I’m in the mood to put on the table each year. There are a couple of my favorites I haven’t posted yet, but I will try to do so soon!
My absolutely favorite rolls for Thanksgiving are these Cornmeal Yeast Rolls.

Now, on to the truly important part of the meal and I don’t mean the turkey. PIE!!!!!!

My very favorite holiday pie is Pumpkin Pie with Rum and Walnuts.

As a twist on pumpkin pie, you might want to try Spiced Cushaw Squash Pie.
(At Farm Bell Recipes here.) Cushaws are a bit sweeter than regular pie pumpkins, and this is a rich, flavorful recipe that will make your house smell like the inside of Autumn.
Fast-rising in my holiday pie objects of affection is Coconut-Oatmeal Rum Pie (with Walnuts). Everyone who tastes this pie asks for the recipe.
It’s an intoxicating concoction I dreamed up one day when I was making do (and baking) with what I had in the pantry. (Find it at Farm Bell Recipes here.) It’s one of the tastiest pies I’ve ever eaten in my life. I’ve made it over and over and over, and I never get tired of it. Hmm. I think I need to make it RIGHT NOW!!!!
