I’d love a copy of the Complete Book of Home Preserving! Last weekend I decided to pick some of our fruit from our Nanking Cherry bushes since it was the first time they’ve given us cherries since we put them in. The birds have been eating some of them, along with our currants (which was the intention when we planted them), but the cherries were so good I made three pints of jam with the ones I picked. Hand pitting was laborious, but the end product was well worth it!
