Free Book Friday: “Are You Crazy??”

Aug
18

And then there was Jill’s house in the Sierras several hours outside San Francisco. (Her house is gorgeous, by the way!) I suggested trying to bait a bear after dinner with the chicken drippings. Did she let me? Guess! One winner, who guesses correctly, will be chosen at random for their autographed pick from my contemporary backlist!

P.S. Go see Jill’s blog Saturday for another post about my visit and another contest!

  2. Cheryl S. says:

Well, sure she did. Jill’s a fun lady. And, wow! Jill’s house IS beautiful.

  3. Minna says:

    I also say yes.

  4. Marcy says:

Of course she did! LOL They show up whether she baits them or not! :rotfl:

  5. Jill says:

I should point out that Suzanne cooked the dinner in its entirety while I was at basketball practice. And it was lovely to come home to a cooked meal. I’ve decided I need a wife . . .

  6. Lori H says:

    Of course she said yes!!

  7. Angie says:

I’m going to say “no” for the same reason Marcy said yes….
They just seem to show up regardless! πŸ˜†

  8. Maureen says:

    I say yes also.

  9. Fannie M Wiggins says:

I say yes. Seems to be something those two crazy ladies would do. What a sensational house. I would love to live in it myself. I am sure Jill would not have a problem finding someone to cook for her. All she has to do is put the word out and the offers will come pouring in. :rotfl: Good luck Jill. Have a great day and HUGS to all.

  10. Jennifer Y. says:

    Hmmm…yes.

  11. Ashley says:

Yup. definitely. She loves her bears.

  12. Estella Kissell says:

    Yes, definitely.

  13. Cindi says:

Being a frequent visitor to Yosemite, and living only a couple of hours from S.F. myself I am going to bet she told you “Hell No” *laughs* I hope you had a great time anyway.

    Cindi

  14. Melissa McClone says:

I’m guessing no. Just because bears are a huge hassle to deal with if they decide to hang out.

  15. Loreth Anne White says:

    Ditto Cindi :).
And ditto Jill on the wife!!!

  16. Loreth Anne White says:

Oops, didn’t mean to enter the contest, Suzanne — was just visiting . Can you say procrastination?? ‘Kay … back to my own bears now ….

  17. Laurie says:

I’m saying that yes, Jill would allow bear bait, they seem to keep coming back regardless.

  18. Lia says:

I’m going to guess no because she wouldn’t want a bear hanging around her property.

  19. catslady says:

  22. Danica/Dream says:

    I am officially jealous.

Jill’s house IS lovely, and anytime you want to come be MY wife, there’s a place in Colorado waiting for you. πŸ™‚

And I’m going to give Jill a little credit for common sense-I think she said no.

  23. TeresaH says:

Oh wow, Jill’s house is beautiful!!! I’m betting she said no too, why encourage the bears to hang out…

  28. Zara says:

I’m going to say no, because it seems Jill has more than her share of bears around without the enticement lol.

  29. Mik says:

Hi Suzanne! I haven’t been here in a while and wanted to stop by and say hello.

Oh, and to answer your question – I’d say NO. Well, actually, I’m answering for myself. There’s no way I’d want a bear remotely close to me. πŸ™‚

  30. Kimberly Holt-Whitlock says:

I’m gonna say YES. Jill and the bears are old friends from way back. Did Mickey make an appearance too???

  33. Donna M says:

I say NO! Because of “bear poop!!” Yucky!:yuck:
I visit Jill’s blog everyday & had to come see the picture of her house. It is great house. I love your pictures of San Francisco. My home is in Wine Country about 75 miles north of San Francisco. Glad you enjoyed our beautiful Northern California.

    Hohum, yea or nae.

I’ll say she gave in–reluctantly and not too close to the house.

  43. Paula says:

Hmmmmmmmmm… Did you put that pic up to confuse everyone with Jill’s happy smile? I think so…

    Eenie meenie miny… NO. lol
