…when your cousin lets you drive his old ambulance. Don’t ask why he has an old ambulance. WE DON’T KNOW.
Fifteen, and dreaming of his learner’s permit……
….thirteen, and dreaming of his learner’s permit….
Ten, and not totally sure what a learner’s permit is BUT THE AMBULANCE IS REALLY COOL!
And then the ambulance drove away into that good night. Thank God we got out of it without needing a REAL ambulance.
What’s happiness for you this weekend? One random comment number will be picked to receive an autographed book from my contemporary backlist!

You have the coolest relatives. Mine drive boring Dodge Caravans. Of course, with 4 boys(7 and under) they don’t have a lot of options. The cousin with the ambulance and of course, Cousin Sheryl. My son drives an ambulance but that is his job so it doesn’t count as owning one. The kids seem to be enjoying the experience. Maybe one of them will be driving one someday. Have a great week-end everyone and hugs to all:yes:

Oh yeah, my happ:lol:iness this week-end is I have absolutely nothing that has to be done. I am devoting the entire week-end to being a couch potato reading and sipping on whatever, munching on whatever and not even getting dressed until 10:00. sounds like a plan to me.:zzz:

Looking forward to a fun week-end with our daughter and grandchildren coming over to visit. We are hoping to grill out if the weather remains nice and just enjoy the time together. No, they won’t be arriving in an ambulance (thankfully), but we are always happy they are coming over.

Jennifer…so glad to hear about your mother! I hope all continues to go well for her.
Suzanne, just be glad it’s an ambulance and not a hearse! Now that makes for some interesting
road trips….. :rotfl:
And happiness this weekend is knowing I don’t have to brave the Georgia heat and humidity unless I want to. And having three friends with pools I can visit if the heat gets too unbearable! Throw in the anthology I just bought, “Surf’s Up”, and we got the makings of a relaxing weekend ahead!

I’m happy that our A/C is working! I’m happy that we’re not responsible for the Hong Kong charges on our credit card for the last two months.
Speaking of herses – I was almost born in one. During the ’50 snowstorm it was the only way she could get to the hospital
First time I saw your son really smiling:grin:

Happiness foe mw this weekend is going 100 miles up I-5 to spend some time with my oldest son and his wife and 2 teenage boys. Their work schedule is so hectic it is hard to have them all together on a weekend.

Having a really old ambulance would be cool. Like from the 50’s. I used to want to own and drive a hearse. 😈

:bananadance: Having no-one in the beauty salon next door until Tuesday–if I’m lucky. Maybe I’ll get to sleep in my own bed until I want to get up.
Actually, the lower temperature (down from 90+ with feel-like at up to 108 is already a very big gift. I have no a/c or fan, just a dehumidifier. And someone is impeaching on my hydro territory since May. My consumption shows I almost tripled and I didn’t use anything beyond my computer, some light and the fridge, just like every other months. Now I just have to figure out: who dunnit?:wall:

Oh, yeah, our temperature is down to around 70 (or less) but I got soaked to the skin by the rain despite my “raincoat” and didn’t go shopping. We’ll see what tomorrow is like and go from there.
