What a choice you’re getting us to make with good tree/bad tree!
However, like Sasha I’ll go for #2. It makes more sense for you to:
a) leave the bottom branches free of ornaments for damaging, batting paws and hungry mouths.
b) leave plenty of room under the tree to be able to pile up all those lovely presents for 5 people or more, depending on whether you’ll have guests for THE event.
Actually, π‘ you may even have both: #1 in an animal-restricted area and #2 in an area that everybody can enjoy.

My son votes for #2, because he says the background looks like your kids’ playroom. So I’m going with his vote, even though I, myself, was leaning the other way.

Tree one with the space between the branches looks a little like a Charlie Brown tree.
I’ll guess tree two because the bottom is cleared for Buttercup.

Im thinking that tree #1 is the one you wish for yourself, and sadly, like the others, I fear that Buttercup rules your home and makes it necessary to keep all temptations off the lower branches. So #2 is your tree

i gotta say Tree #1. Its unique and it’s actually has presents under it.
Unlike my house, where the tree is still in its box but at least the stockings were hung. LOL
