Is It Still Tuesday?

All this extreme writing leaves my head reeling. My husband has been digging post holes every day after work because he’s setting up a fence in the backyard. He came in last night and started talking about how sore he was. I told him, ME TOO! My legs are so sore from sitting at the computer in the same position for so many hours all week. And my back, and– And that’s as far as I got before he said, I WAS DIGGING POST HOLES!!!!! I couldn’t really counter that, but hey! I am tired! LOL.

My oldest son is fourteen years old today. ::thunk:: This makes me feel about two hundred and fifty. WINNERS of an autographed copy of Her Secret Stranger: Caro, Amy, and Robyn! Don’t forget to click the email button and send me your address! 😆

Coming up: I’ve seen the mock up for my new website design and it’s gorgeous! Be sure and check back next week for the big unveiling! There will be fun and prizes!!!

oh, I can’t wait to see the new design! Did you use the same designer who did this blog? Because I LOVE your blog design!

I’m trying to find a way for my kids to age…but me age at about a third of the rate that they do…

  3. Jill says:

Congrats to the winners! It’s a great book!

  4. Beth C says:

Hugs on the aching muscles. Even though hubby may not sympathize, I do. 😳 Happy birthday to your son. Can’t wait to see the new web design!

  5. Caro says:

Hugs on the soreness — and I don’t think it’s necessarily just from sitting in the same spot all day. When I do big bursts, I find my legs and shoulders tense up and I don’t take breaks like I should because I’m so caught up in what I’m doing that I don’t pay attention to the time.

Congrats to your son on his birthday, though I totally understand about feeling old. I just learned the first season of Remington Steele is coming out on DVD and it was a start to realize that premiere was over twenty years ago.

  6. Kelly says:

I was just telling my hubby last night–Friday, all ready??? Happy birthday to your son! And can’t wait to see the website!

  7. Amy K. says:

    Happy Birthday to your son!

When I sit and write for too long, the bottoms of my thighs hurt where they hit the chair. I feel your pain. Your husband may have been digging posts, but was he also pulling a story out of the recesses of his brain? 😀

  8. Mary Stella says:

Just because we work sitting down doesn’t mean we don’t deserve sympathy! We feel your pain.

I tried to dig fence post holes once, so actually, I feel your husband’s pain, too.

Time for a couples massage, Suzanne!

  9. Tori says:

Can’t wait to see the new design!!!

And I totally sympathize with the sitting-too-long-and-typing soreness.

  10. Mary says:

Can’t wait to see your new web design. I need a post hole digger–my husband hasn’t don’t crap around the house in months.

  11. Robyn says:

Wow, thanks for picking my name and do
have a Happy Birthday today. Congrats
    to the other winners.

  12. Margery says:

Happy birthday to your son. Yep, never feel old until their birthdays. Then it hits me. Can’t wait to see your new website.

  13. Kate R says:

MY oldest son is 14. MY sixth grade son has a teacher who suffers from stupid rules syndrome. …hmmmm The kate=suzanne theory falls apart with kid three. MY third is another boy.

  14. Katie says:

No – it isn’t Tuesday! FRIAY!!!!!! Yay, FRIDAY!!!!
Sounds like you and the post hole digger could use some hot tub time.

  15. Sasha says:

Tuesday!!! No way! It’s Friday, Baby!!

Maybe the 14 yer old should be helping the dh dig the postholes?

  16. Cynthia says:

Can’t wait to see the new look! Happy Birthday to your 14-year-old! Good luck with the deadline.
