Our weather’s going up and down on the “normal temperature” line. It was about 1 or 2 C today and we had some nice, big puddles in very inconvenient places.
The weekend is definitely supposed to be colder but not too bad. I’m sure we’ll still have a bunch of snow. At least now I can’t be marooned at the back of the building for 3 days again. I moved upstairs and the door opens to the street.
The new owner is renovating the main floor. While we had -17 C temperatures a little over a week ago, he did something to kill the heating on the first floor. So he used big heaters to thaw the pipes out. I’m not sure exactly why, but our pipe in the entrance downstairs busted and we had to slog through about an inch of water to get outside. And boy, did that leave a mess. You could hardly see the floor. So I can understand your frustrations.:rambo:
What I can definitely do without are the freezing–and I mean that literally–winds. With the temperature got down to -30F for a couple of days.
